empowering resilient minds and ecosystems
As demonstrated by 2025's devastating LA fires, climate change is causing destructive wildfires that threaten ecosystems, economies, and livelihoods. As a student-led initiative, Break the Blaze works to educate younger generations on habitat protection, engage in field work to promote native ecosystems, and serve as a platform for students to advocate for the environment around them.
Environmental Purpose
Restoring natural habitats to rehabilitate our environments resilience against devastating wildfires
Long-term Goal
A future where Orange County's ecosystems are wildfire-resilient and students are empowered to advocate for the environmental and social issues that they are passionate about.

Our Educational focus

To us, local awareness on environmental issues is just as important as our restoration events. Our goal is inform and empower our community to give them the initiative to both act on their own and get more involved with the coalitions conservation efforts.
